The September 2026 WASDE lowered 2026/27 U.S. corn production by 213 million bushels to 15.8 billion because of lower yield and harvested area; domestic use and ending stocks were also reduced, while the farm price increased to $4.80 per bushel. Soybean production and exports increased, but ending stocks declined to 310 million bushels, while rice beginning and ending stocks rose. Cotton production, domestic use, and ending stocks were reduced, and livestock production forecasts were lowered for beef and pork.
